As mentioned before, Katie Chameleon is me, Katie Viren. I have had 25+ years experience living in the design and advertising worlds. I have played with almost every form of fiber work I could get my hands on and have become proficient at many. I currently work and teach knitting at Yarn Harbor in Duluth, MN.

I am an accomplished production artist and former geek. After a rather thorough reordering of my world (read health, financial, and relational upsets), I left the West Coast and returned to my state of origin. My post-geek play has been in the realms of psychology, metaphysics, fibers, jewelry, drawing, and Shrinky Dinks!
